it has often been said, is rap music’s elder kin.
an autonomous zone presided over by music men and women, a shelter of collective memory.
the new generation – to whom so much had been given, from whom so much was being stolen, for whom so little would be promised - would not settle for the things previous generations had been willing to settle for. Concede them a demand and they would demand more. Give them an apocalypse, and they would dance.

Howard Gardner’s theory, The Seven Intelligences is the principle that there are seven individual sources in the human brain that support our ability to learn. The seven intelligences that support learning are logical-mathematical, linguistic, spatial-visual, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence. His theory argues that our learning habits derive from, a biological and cultural source. Gardner also argues that there are designated areas in the brain responsible for each of the seven intelligences. While there are many theories as to how the human brain conducts the learning process, Gardner’s theory provides an assortment of intelligences.
Based on Gardner’s definition of intelligence – “the capacity to solve problems or fashion products that are valued in one or more cultural stetting” - I’d like to believe that my learning patterns match with Linguistic Intelligence. With this brainpower (linguistic intelligence), one holds the ability to successfully use language to express them selves.
I’m not a perfect reader; growing up I had poor reading skills; I still have problems with the pronunciations of words and I’m not sure if I’m at the reading level that corresponds with my age. All in all, I’ve been told from time to time that I’m a fine writer. And from a young age I’ve been good at the verbal, and mostly non verbal articulation of my thoughts. Linguistic Intelligence fits my learning pattern because while I’m abstract in my intrapersonal thoughts, I am capable of translating those thoughts into a coherent way for others.
i’ve missed you dearly… but my grind is on.
babe, i’m doing this for you and me. ya dig?
I’ll be gone to next week… hopefully.
knows i’m bisexual.
